17 June 2024 - 23 June 2024
Welcome to the Valui Hub for World Continence Week 2024! The topics of the week were varied, but all under the umbrella of providing you with useful information to help deal with incontinence. This page will stay up for a while longer, and the articles themselves will continue to be available after through our blog, available through the Information tabs in the "For Individuals" and "For Caretakers" headers.
World Continence Week is an initiative created by the World Federation For Incontinence and Pelvic Problems (WFIPP) to raise worldwide awareness of continence issues, and is also supported by the International Continence Society (ICS).
The goal is to highlight the impacts incontinence can have on a person's life, as well as provide information and encourage affected individuals to seek help so that they do not have to deal with this issue alone.
Find more information about the WFIPP and access their toolkit for the World Continence Week 2024 on their website.
Additionally, we are not the only ones following the World Continence Week 2024 to improve continence education and support affected individuals.
Organisations such as the Continence Foundation of Australia also provide resources for you to learn about incontinence.
With their focus on "Let's Talk" this year, the Continence Foundation hopes to share more lived experiences with incontinence and show you that you are not alone.
